Housing Can’t Wait was originally founded as a coalition of Fahe Members, including Housing Development Alliance, HOMES, Inc., Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky, Frontier Housing, and Fahe after they met to discuss how they could organize to address the housing crisis created by the Eastern Kentucky flood in 2022.
Fahe and the Foundation for Appalachian Kentucky committed the initial funds.
Today, we have expanded to include more partners, more Members, and more states. We are asking for continued support as we take on the housing challenge to build or rehabilitate more homes as we address the broader housing crisis in Appalachia.
